Danshui & Ximending Haul

Hey! This post is gonna be about my hauls for the past few outings. The reason why I didn't blog last week is because while I look through and edit my Danshui trip photos, I realize most photos of me kinda looks unglam. Not because Heather didn't take good photos. But because the sun is bright, the wind is blowing (like really hard) and I dunno why I just don't look good in photos anymore. So I lost the mood to blog. LOL I KNOW!!! LAMEST EXCUSE EVER!!! But it's true, when you realize your photos don't look so good you just don't really wanna blog about it and share with the whole world. But I promised, so here goes :

DANSHUI
(淡水)

awkward expression cause the sun is too bright

The sign says : "husband killer"
LOL 8D

This one say : "Cheated in exam"
LOL x2 8D

And here's what I've bought!
Danshui has the "old street" place where they sell nostalgic stuffs
I remember when I was a kid, I loved to suck on those chocolate syrup sticks!

See that boiled egg at the bottom of the picture? It's a toy that you throw really hard to the ground and it would look like liquid for about 5 seconds and then it turns back in to the solid state. I wanted to make a video or maybe just take pictures of how to play and how it looks like and share it on my blog but I took the toy to school and the boys kept on playing with it very violently until it broke :( so no chance :(

At first it's very funny when it broke but now that I think about it I'm kinda pissed. Boys in my class always like to borrow stuffs from people and never take good care of it. Sometimes never even return until you saw your things that you lend to them lying on the ground looking ragged and dirty. I'm like if you wanna borrow stuffs from people, at least take good care of it ok?! Now finally one of my things broke because of you guys and even though it's a cheap thing, it's hard to buy! And the guy who broke it says he'll pay me back but of course he never did. Pissed -_-

XIMENDING
(西門町)

These are what I bought at Ximending
(except the Ginger ale soda, bought that from a mall)

The.....umm.....what are they called? Anti-dust plugs? Basically it's a plug for the hole where you plug your earphones and their purpose is to prevent dust from entering the hole. Why am I explaining this anyway? This thing is known around the world isn't it? Right now my favorite is the blue bunny ears but they're not exactly bunny ears, they're something like this :

Pic from here

But I also like the little twin stars 'cause they're cute (I like pink and blue/mint combination)
And the little gingerbread man is super cute too!

Look how it matches my cookie themed cell phone cover! 8D (happy)

I have a favorite Taiwanese blogger. Her name is Kusa (which means "grass" in japanese which is her name : 小草 is her Chinese name which literally means little grass in chinese). She's kinda famous. Her blog gets featured almost everyday and a lot of people read her blog too. She used to be on stage on small events and she and her blog got on the newspaper. I love reading her blog because it's so cute & informative! She and her brother's wife (who's really cute and young too) has a shop called "Rocky Boss" at Ximending. So I went to check it out 'cause I read about it on the website and think the shop sells a lot of cute stuffs! (Of course Heather was forced to go with me lol 8D )

Here are some pics of the shop (stolen from other websites. I will post the links ok!?)

It's the colorful shop

And they sell Swimmer's stuff!!!
Swimmer is a brand in japan that sells cute sometimes weird stuffs. And I love them but the shops are in Japan and quite expensive. So glad that Rocky Boss sells them! I mean look at the above picture! The comb!! I WANT!!! Too bad it's sold out :(

Pics from here and here

It was my lucky day 'cause when I reach Rocky Boss, I realize that Kusa is inside looking after the shop! I was kinda lame 'cause I was too scared and shy to talk to her so Heather had to be the one to tell her that I'm a fan of her and I read her blog all the time. She was abit shy too but chatted with us abit. Then (after some lame awkward moments)  I asked if she can take a picture with me :

It was Halloween so I got a pair of bear ears on my head
But even with the adorable bear ears I still look like a man/giant. Especially next to Kusa 'cause she's so tiny :/ no edits can make me look any better :/

Any way here's what I bought from her shop :

My Melody box (NT$ 90)
A tiny box and I admit it's kinda expensive. But it's so cute and I've always wanted to buy a small box to store my false lashes (and it feels so lame to just walk into her shop to take a picture with her and not buying anything). I do like the box. Cute!

Swimmer contact lens box (NT$ 490)
I also admit this thing is CRAZY expensive. But I love it! It's Swimmer and it's cute and it's got a cake with a pink bow on top and a smiling cup of coffee/tea. IT'S MADE FOR ME!!! Finally I've got a stuff from Swimmer! No I'm not stupid or retarded, I'm just crazy.

Things in Rocky Boss is quite expensive but expected 'cause all the things they sell are from Japan. Some of the things they bought directly from Japan on their trip there and brought back to sell here in their shop in Taiwan.

I know this sounds crazy but I'll be going back there to buy more stuffs. You can't stop me. But after I've saved up enough money first :/

That's it for this post

See ya! 8D

Scrump Cookie Key Chain

School's starting tomorrow :(  Can't believe I'm actually in grade 12 now! Next year I'll be a University student! I still feel like a kid though. I don't feel anything like a grown up :/  I should have blogged a bit more during summer break 'cause I won't have much time to blog after tomorrow what with exams for Universities and all that.

Most of my friends are already studying for the big exam since the start of summer break but I haven't touched the textbooks AT ALL. Until today 'cause I'm writing my summer break homework right now. Yes it's school tomorrow and I've only started writing my homework today. Yes I'm writing my homework while blogging. Yes I'm writing my homework while browsing the internet and playing computer. I just can't bring myself to be a good hard working student like other people.

And to add the "not being a good hard working student", yesterday I made this :

Scrump cookie key chain

It's (once again) for my friend in Thailand.
The one I was making the birthday miniatures present box for.
She LOVES Scrump. I stumbled upon a video tutorial on youtube teaching us how to make the Scrump cookie. My friend loves Scrump, and she loves clay foods, it's perfect! So I just had to make one for her.

The back isn't very good

But I realized that the eyes are a bit too close so I moved them a little (they weren't glued yet)
And after posting the pictures on facebook, Heather says it's super cute so I offered to make one for her too :

And here's the video tutorial by Paper Pastels :

She's really talented!

I have to finish my homework now )8

Bye! 8D

Project : Birthday Miniatures : Small Cakes and Jellies

Hi people! Continuing with the miniatures I've made for my friend in Thailand.

Here are the other posts on this project :

This time, they're small cakes!!! :

(from left to right and top to bottom) Mini Charlotte cake, chocolate marble cake, chocolate filling cake (I dunno I made that cake up myself), and coconut cake

The reason why I call them small cakes is because they're not that big
Bigger than cake slices, smaller than whole cakes

And jellies! :

Strawberry, apple, grape, and mixed fruit jellies

And roll cakes :

These are made last minute so they're not very cute

I also made mini plastic bags

And mini plates

And that's what I made for my friend's birthday present!
It was fun making them! Especially the cookies 'cause I made them at school with Heather

Extra :

I made these long time ago but kept forgetting to share it with you guys

Wanna make them too? Watch this video tutorial by Toni Ellison!
Check out her channel too while you're at it 'cause she's really talented!
 She's got alot of tutorials!

Finally I've decided to keep promoting myself again!
'Cause I feel lonely in my lonely blog and lonely formspring 8D
No seriously, it's really quiet here and there :/
I 'm always talking to myself and I'm used to it but this is seriously getting depressing 8/
