Crashing Ikea with My BFF Heather!

Hi peeps! Yesterday Heather and I went crazy at Ikea and I filmed a video! :

After Ikea we went to this place called Hana cafe cause being broke did not keep us from spending money like we own it. The service is meh the waffle and the tea also meh :/

Is it me or are Ikea dolls kinda ugly

(In reality we crashed around at Ikea for hours but left the place empty handed)

The cake is not bad but costs NT$90, Starbuck's cakes are better and only costs NT$80 or even less.

Conclusion : Hana cafe is not worth spending almost 300 for an afternoon tea. And the waitress gave Heather an attitude when Heather asked if what they gave her is waffles cause she ordered pancakes and she specifically pointed at the name on the menu. But the waitress said they won't change for her cause they already confirmed the orders with her before serving. But both of us don't remember her confirming AT ALL. And in Taiwan most places call waffles and pancakes "hot cakes" so it's really hard to order the right ones.

Miniature Roll Cake

Hi again! It's been a long time since I last made something so here's a short post about what I made last night :

I learnt how to make these from a book about miniatures.

This roll cake just looks so cute that I had to make them! The ones in the book looks cuter and much more realistic though. But the author's an expert that's why she can publish a book right? I like the white one more than the chocolate one cause I think the chocolate looks too big and a bit weird. What do you think?

University Interview

Hi! As promised, here's a nerdy photo of my interview outfit :

It was my nerd day

I'm sorry I didn't take any photos of the three Universities I went. The schedule was very tight and I was very nervous preparing for the interview so I didn't really have any time.

OK here's a photo of the train ticket for me and my mum :

This University I'm going to aim for is called Tamkang University (淡江大學)

The school is very far away from my home and it's on a very lonely and secluded mountain. All students are required to stay in school at all times (you have to get permission from school to leave the school campus). Year 1 and 2 students are required to live in dorms. Year 3 students are required to study abroad in other countries, otherwise you can't graduate (like WHAT?!?!). Year 4 students travel back to Tamkang and continue your studies here. More freedom cause you don't have to live in dorms anymore but the school is really high on top of the mountain and the only source of transportation is the school bus which is not available everyday. So unless I be like Tarzan and live in the woods on the mountains and make some animal friends and eat bugs or grow wings and fly to school everyday, living in the dorms would be the only option.

Altogether, this school is quite strict and I'll become a nun once I graduate but atleast I got a University and it's quite a good one too so I'm grateful.

ABRUPT ENDING

Hot Pot in School and a Deco Den box

It's winter! And what we need is Hot Pot! But how are we gonna enjoy hot pot during winter when we're stuck at school for 13 hours a day? Well, JUST HAVE HOT POT IN CLASS!!!! 8D

No kidding

It was Thursday. We have FOUR hours of Chinese class on Thursdays. It was too much to bare so hot pot for dinner in school was a good temporary paradise. 

The preparation

It was awesome really. 

There were some wasabi meatballs in there but no one knew, until someone bit into it and practically choked to death. Lucky me 'cause I was gonna shove a mouthful of that meatball until a friend started choking and asking for water, so I was safe :P

That's not the only school cooking time that week. Our classmate cooked Laksa (google it) on Wednesday too.

So I shamelessly asked for some without paying

Guess what I made those for?

For decorating my stuff of course! My mom gave me a transparent cotton bud box for my accessories and as soon as I see it I knew I just had to decorate it.

I love it! Took me three hours to make those clay foods.

Get ready for shit loads of photos of the same box 'cause I love this box so much that I just can't get enough of it.

Used it to store my earrings, necklaces and stuffs

Heather gave me this lip balm her aunt (I think) made herself. The lip balm is really good! Completely cured my chapped lips. But the container was kinda boring so I couldn't help decorating it too. 

Heather says someone's gonna thought that the lip balm must be some sweet flavor when actually it's Chinese medicine flavor lol. But the smell is not that bad though, I actually kinda like it. Yeah I'm weird. 

And have you seen my nails?

Painted them myself! It's not that hard really

Heather's Birthday!!!!!!!

Hey! 8D
So Heather's birthday was on October 3 and I know it took me so long to blog but I have a good reason for that! Which is exam :/  we had exam last week so I wasn't able to use the computer. But this week I'm back so let's start blogging! 8D

At first I wanted to buy official Badtz-Maru stuffs for Heather. But Sanrio stuffs are just so expensive! So in the end I decided to make a lot of handmade Badtz-Maru things for her.

Haha! After I finished making it, I realized the eyes and the mouth looks too small so I ripped them off and did it again 

And now it looks much better 8D

And this is how I wrapped her present

Yeah I know, the ugliest gift wrapping ever. But I'll tell you why! To me, unwrapping a gift while not knowing  what's inside is the most fun part. But look what I accidentally bought :/

Yeah, I felt like punching myself

And I also made a small cake!

I know it looks lopsided and wrinkly

But it's actually very hard to make! Especially the eyes :/

See the bottom left pic? That's Pudding (me and Heather's hamster, duh) with a birthday hat and Heather's holding his birthday card for her. I made the hat and made sure that it's not too tight. It's not cause Pudding can very easily just walk right out of the hat strap. Isn't he cute? (swoons)  I'm gonna brain wash everyone into believing Pudding wrote that card himself.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEATHER!!! 

(though it's been like two weeks but I'm gonna say it again like a boss)
