From old to brand new!

Lately I've been obsessed with changing my old stuff into brand new things. Well, not exactly brand new but they definitely look much better than before. I'll show you two things I've re-decorated this week.

My Bracelet :

The Old

Rusted, and some fake diamonds have fallen out.

Seriously when I found this thing, it's got green rust on it and looks so freaking old and rusty I didn't really wanna touch it. An old friend of mine gave this to me as a goodbye gift before she returned to America. I didn't wear it very often. So when I found this thing sitting at the bottom of my accessory box, kinda sad looking, I immediately got an idea of how to make it look better.

The New

Of course everything I make just gotta have FOOD on it! 8D
Especially desserts, sweet stuffs.

Anyway, I used an old discarded toothbrush and toothpaste to scrub the rusts off. It did got a bit shinier, but still looks old. So I adorned it with a red ribbon. And then I made some miniature donuts and attached them to the bracelet. My mom said it would have been better if I made six donuts instead of just four (partly because Chinese way of saying 4 sounds like the word die in Chinese, so they think 4 is a bad omen).
But I thought; meh :/ if I have the mood to make more donuts then I'll add them to the bracelet later.

I LOVE before and after pics 8D

Guess I'll be wearing the bracelet more often now 8D

My Phone :

The Old

Fake pearls lost the color and shine, fake diamonds fell out, and the paper lace became grey.

When I first bling up my phone, I didn't like it but didn't bother to re-decorate. Until yesterday, when the fifth diamond fell off, I decided it's time to change. I didn't exactly change old to new, just kinda re-decorate.
But still, look at the dramatic change ladies and gentleman!!!

The New

COOKIES OMG I WANNA MUNCH THEM!!! 8D

Cookies and the red bow handmade by me (yes I love to boast. can't help it). Pink lace, ribbons, & whipped cream bought at a craft store. The paper lace and sentimental circus sticker was easy to remove, but picking off the diamonds and pearls were a pain D8 How come it randomly falls off so easily but when you wanna pick it off it wouldn't budge?!? Then I use alcohol to rub off  the remaining yucky sticky glue thing. This time I didn't wanna stick anymore fake diamonds :/

The thickness is acceptable
The phone's not hard to handle at all!

Before and after!

I figured, since I don't have the money to buy an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy; then might as well make my phone look as exaggerating and pretty as possible right? 8D (attention seeking, yes)

Extra :

The pic of my work in progress lol

Bye! 8D
