Project : Birthday Miniatures : Donuts

Hi! First of all; once again sorry for not updating for so long. It's summer break here in Taiwan and there's just nothing interesting going on. I mean I did go out with my friends but I took sooo little pics that I didn't think it will be a good post. 


So, I've started a new miniature project : Birthday Miniatures! Or Birthday Present or what ever. Anyway, a friend of mine in Thailand (her name is Pear) who also shares the same love of miniatures had her birthday like, what, two weeks ago? And I wasn't there 'cause obviously I was still stuck in Taiwan. So I decided to make an awesome birthday present for her! At first I didn't wanna write about this on my blog 'cause I'm afraid she's gonna see and the surprise will be ruined. But I guess maybe she doesn't read my blog? Or if I don't post the link on facebook she wouldn't bother? :/ So yeah, decided to blog about this.


Anyway, on with the Present~ :

The Box :

This is the donut themed present box decorated by me!

I didn't stick any blings on 'cause Pear likes things to look realistic

And real food don't have jewels on them :/ 

The Miniatures :

I said Pear likes things to look realistic. So the miniatures can't be glued to the box.

Whenever I tried to glue my miniatures in the box she'll be all : "Why glue them? They won't look realistic and you can't play with them." And I actually agree with her.

Though arranging them back into the box is a pain even with a tweezer.

Look how tiny it is on my finger! 

If only I have a better camera, you'll be able to see how detailed it is (shameless proud face)

Making the miniatures are so fun! I love to doodle with my resin clay. 

As you can see from the last pic's background, this is not the only thing I've made! But I will post more on my next post.
